690V low voltage power solution for HPS

ABB package solution: ABB motors can deliver full torque from zero when paired with ABB VFD with Direct Torque Control (DTC) technology. The customers can depend on ABB motors and VFDs to keep their equipment running day after day. ABB Motor-VFD package can accurate motor and speed control while maintaining superior safety and reliability. No need to further test for certification of the motor VFD combination.

690V low voltage solution: 690V power solution is very popular in Oil&Gas industry, e.g., Oil Drilling Rigs' power system, Top Drive System's power system. Because of the same voltage rating (690V), there is no need for a step-up transformer between the VFD and the motor ;furthermore, there is no need to configure a sine wave filter at the output end of the VFD, saving the footprint and cost. Compared with the Medium Voltage solution, 690V voltage rating is Low Voltage Rating, low voltage electrical engineers can operate
